What Are the Symptoms of Anxiety Disorders?

Anxiety is a very intense emotion. It is characterized by nervousness and bodily symptoms of tension. When someone is nervous, that person is anticipating the worse to happen. That person thinks they are in danger, a catastrophe may occur or misfortune is imminent. The body often mobilizes as if by itself to meet this threat wishi is only perceived and happens only in the mind. But the muscles become tense, the breathing becomes faster, and the heart starts to beat rapidly. However, try to climb the stair fast and yo may experience the same symptoms. No! the person who feels anxiety thinks there is something wrong with him or her.

Anxiety may be confused easily with fers, though it may be distinguished from fear both theoretically and physiologically. Anxiety is a future-oriented, long-acting response focused on a diffuse threat, while fear is an appropriate, present-oriented, and short-lived response to a clearly identifiable and specific threat. Feelings of panic, fear, and uneasiness
Problems sleeping
Cold or sweaty hands or feet
Shortness of breath
Heart palpitations
Not being able to be still and calm
Dry mouth
Numbness or tingling in the hands or feet
Nausea
Muscle tension
Dizziness
